May we both be protected. May we both be nourished. May we together
acquire the capacity to study and understand what we study. May our study
be brilliant. May we not disagree with each other. Oṃ peace, peace, peace.

Om. Goddess Mother Bhagavadgītā!
I repeatedly invoke you who were taught by Bhagavān Nārāyaṇa himself for the sake of Arjuna, the son of Kuntī. {You who were} faithfully collected and reported by the ancient sage, Vyāsa, and placed in the middle of the Mahābhārata, you who are in eighteen chapters, you who have the nature of showering the nectar of non-duality, and who is the destroyer of the life of becoming {saṃsāra}

That is Whole, This also is Whole,
From this Wholeness comes that Wholeness.
Taking Wholeness from Wholeness, Wholeness Indeed Remains.
Oṃ Peace, Peace, Peace
From this Wholeness comes that Wholeness.
Taking Wholeness from Wholeness, Wholeness Indeed Remains.
Oṃ Peace, Peace, Peace
In gratitude.
The teachers with whom I have studied Vedānta texts, mantras and prayers. These teachers are for me a connection to the very source of wisdom all the way back to Bhagavan, and the very means to self-knowledge. |
