Agni & Soma: Aspiration and Allowance

Retreat with Kaya & Michael
September 15-16, 2018 SomaSpace, Portland Oregon
9am-5:30pm
Delve in to deep, rejuvenating practices based in the ancient concepts of fire and water. Teachers' teacher, Kaya Mindlin C-IAYT, returns to PDX to share 18+ years teaching experience in this blissful immersion. You'll delve directly into practices which reverse depletion and gather the inner nectar of rejuvenation. Experience adnanced yet accessible practices which Kaya developed according to these cosmic consorts.

Come experience SRY {Spinal Release Yoga}, "Soma Nidra", Pranayama, Soma Mantra, and more. You'll release core tensions and patterns, emphasizing the pelvis and heart;  increase the flow of your inner nectar; and gently enliven a balanced inner fire. This time, Kaya's husband, Vedic Astrologer, Michael Manzella, will share ancient principles for aligning with Sun & Moon, the luminary Agni & Soma. You'll leave harmonized, replenished, relaxed and invigorated with take-home tools for your home practice and life.

Praise for Soma: "Kaya's approach is holistic, calming, nurturing, supportive, knowledgable, grounded in the sacred wisdom that she shares. She exudes her path - it is felt when she is teaching. Her voice is soothing and present and embodies Soma. Her guided meditations of Soma were very effective in creating the calm Soma internal waters.  It was effective for me to hear of the Ayurvedic principles, and foods and how they relate to Soma. It was also useful to hear about what the ancient sacred texts had to say." - JS, Activist

Praise for Soma: "Kaya's knowledge is obviously vast, and her communication is so clear, her presence so unencumbered by personal issues or needing validation from her students, that the teaching is extremely accessible. She's totally organized and calm, clearly in her element, and the pace is measured - never rushed but never lagging. She is aware of everyone as individuals and of the whole group at the same time.The whole experience allows for as ease-full as possible a download of both the intellectual information and the energetics of the teaching that's coming through." - Susan L {Yoga Teacher in Training}
I have been acutely aware of the increase of depletion in my yoga students and colleagues this year. I believe it is more important than ever to tap into the timeless wisdom and practices for cultivating the nectar of rejuvenation. I love to share the teachings about the value of promoting and preserving your the fullness of inner nectar and a balanced fire to counter the pain, confusion, inflammation, conflict, busyness, depletion and overwhelm that has seemed to take over many personal relationships, communities, and sadly even the yoga world. May we all be blessed by divine soma and agni - the cosmic powers of allowance and aspiration.

Praise for Soma: "I have gained an at home yoga practice cultivating rejuvenating Soma that supports me spiritually, physically and emotionally. I am very happy and feel transformed and awakened. I was so good to have the condensed yoga this weekend. The repetition was key in building the muscle memory that I could take into this week in my own home practice. I have been doing it everyday. I am very grateful to have this practice that I can continue throughout my life. This has been most valuable to me gaining this practice and the learning about and how to cultivate Soma, which is so key for our society." - Jenn S, Yoga Student
